ABOUT ME
I’m a finnish photographer currently living in the UK and I’m specialized in documentary and editorial photography. I’m especially interested in people and their stories, multimedia storytelling, humanitarian issues and natural light. I’m a member of the Finnish Red Cross international personnel reserve. I work mainly for Finnish magazines and newspapers.
I’m open to assignments and ready to travel worldwide.
EDUCATION: Bachelor of Social Science, Photojournalism (University of Tampere). Minors: Political science, development studies, international relations.
I’m currently studying my master’s degree in visual journalism (University of Tampere).
OTHER COURSES AND STUDIES: PADI Open water diver, IMPACT Training for disaster response personnel reserve (Finnish Red Cross), Basics of international humanitarian law (Finnish Red Cross), Intensive course in community media (University of Zambia). HIV, aids and development in media (University of Helsinki).
