BIOGRAPHY: Tatu is a photojournalist living in Helsinki, Finland. Tatu specializes in documentary and editorial photography, and loves natural light. He’s also interested in documentary films and multimedia storytelling. He’s a member of the Finnish Red Cross international aid’s Field Communications Unit. Tatu’s recent work ranges from environmental conservation to post-conflict rebuilding, health and other humanitarian issues. He has been teaching in the University of Tampere (Photojournalism) and in Metropolia University of Applied Sciences (Film & TV studies).
Tatu is based in Helsinki and available for both domestic and international assignments, teaching and anything interesting.
EDUCATION: Master of social sciences in Photojournalism (University of Tampere). Minors in political science, development studies and international relations. Tatu is also a PADI open water diver and has gone through field security, humanitarian aid and international humanitarian law trainings with the Red Cross.
